I bought this for my son 2 years ago when he was 8...he still uses it even now and loves it. It's a little short for his body length since it's been 2 years but its still holding up perfect and helps him sleep and get through thunderstorms.I have a young nephew with anxiety so I got this for him for his birthday and he LOVES it. He's ten and it's the perfect size and weight for him. Great buy!It’s not the size it says it is, looked smaller then one I already have and it falls short inches. 5 inches on the length and 2 inches on the width.I bought it for my 5 year old with sever ADHD. Her medicine leaves her very restless at night so I was hoping this would encourage her to be still. She has no issue getting out from under the blanket, it's very long so she only used half of it anyway. The problem was she just doesn't like it. I think she wants to be able to toss and turn and can see through my tricks. My 80lb 12 year old snatched it since she won't use it and uses it every night and while watching movies. It puts him to sleep quickly. We are moving into the winter months so I'm now worried about him over heating at night.Only complaint is the blanket is pretty narrow. Would be nicer to have it wider but overall it's okay for a child.Actually using these to cover my new sofas just in case (I have a small dog). Works great. Does not bunch up.
