Got this for my puppy when he was recovering post-parvo. It's been amazing & I wish I had gotten it sooner instead of wasting money on puppy pads!!! It's not as needed anymore, but I used to just stick it under him wherever we were playing - esp on top of our nice carpets. Now that he's potty-trained, it's just his special blanket that goes with us on trips and in the car. It also is great because it can go under him on the couch/carpet and he can eat messy things (Himalayan cheese sticks create SO many crumbs but are SO good for teething).The blanket also catches all the pee/spilt waterbowl water that gets put on it. It seems to have the soft outer layer, then a super absorbent layer, and then two water-proof layers. It gets heavy but it gets the job done. I've had to wash his blanket about 5 times now, and tbh I do not wash it as instructed, and it still works great. Because of how absorbent it is, you'll need to leave time for it to airdry or go in the dryer a 2nd time.If you have accident prone pets and are tired of washing comforters and blankets - this is for you!I keep this over my bed, so that if they gunk it up, i can easily toss in wash and it is waterproof so doesn't go through. Also, it looks so cute and fuzzy that it looks like intentional decor and not like it is a "pet" blanket.We have a male cat that will relieve himself on our bed on occasion. We haven't figured out why he does this, but having to wash bedspread, blankets, sheets and mattress pad each time is exhausting. We decided to get this blanket and are so glad we did. The urine actually "puddled" and did not seep through to any of the layers underneath!I've literally purchased 5 of these now since they're so awesome. We brought home an 8 month old rescue pup that had 0 experience with house-training. We have these on each bed, our couch, and I have a smaller one that I take to my office for him to hang out on while I work. We've already have accidents and they are definitely waterproof and easy to clean. I toss in the wash on delicate and hang dry.This is a well made and awesome product. A lot of times you get these waterproof membrane items and it sounds like a bunch of plastic bags. This product looks great and is of very high quality. We will be buying more for other Rooms.She’s already sleeping so peaceful with it! Feels really good qualityMy cats will pee on the couch at least once every couple weeks, usually when I’m most exhausted after work and def need to lay on the couch and watch tv. Today they peed and couch time was not forfeited. 10/10 would recommend.So far so good! Soft and snuggly. It's hard to believe it's water resistant!I was dubious about this blanket, given the mixed reviews. But we've had it about 9 months now, it's been washed and dried countless times and it still does its job. Is a great size and looks good too!Does exactly what it says it does. Great waterproof protection for the bed. Keeps pet hair off the bed. And, it looks great.Very happy, bought a second for our other bedroom. Washes really well on a hand wash/ wool setting.Good product. Personal did a water test, it run straight down the blanket. Will get a second/third for the bedrooms.The plush side holds a bit of liquid if soiled heavily. Overall, the waterproof blanket is a success.It is definitely waterproof and is a good size, enough to cover the queen bed with an incontinent yellow lab!
