I wish it came in adult size!When our son started to roll over, we began to look for a good sleep sack to replace his Magic Merlin's sleepsuit; and boy it was quite the search! I ordered multiple different ones from cheap to expensive on Amazon (Tommy Tippee, Gunamuna, Kyte Baby, Burt's bees, Halo, and some other random brands that had great reviews) until I stumbled on to the Woolino sleep sack randomly. They all came in the mail and even though some were soft and light, fluffy- the quality just wasn't there and most were made out of synthetic material with cotton shell for softness or like Kyte baby for example- great material, breathable, but made with multiple layers and when my son moved around the one night we used it, it bunched up all around his waist and legs with these different layers twisting around him. Most were not breathable and baby is either sweating or too cold in it. Woolino is by far the best: breathable, temp regulating for colder or warmer nights, very well put together with a heavy duty zipper that opens from the top and the bottom for easy diaper changes, size that it comes in will last a long time with room for baby to grow and still use it for a while, and lastly my baby boy never gets tangled up in it. Anyone who wore merino wool socks in the winter knows how amazing the material is and that it keeps feet warm and dry; this is the same quality merino wool if not better with same advantages.These sacks are not cheap by any means and I understand the hesitation most people have, I did too...but you do get what you pay for I believe. Instead of buying multiple ones over the next couple years due to sizing or wear due to quality of other cheaper ones, I feel that with Woolino sacks it may save money in the long run.I did ended up buying another one, so I have two and had an issue with the zipper catching a little. I emailed the company through amazon and Elizabeth from Woolino emailed me within hours and replaced the sack without any issues or time wasted. I am truly blown away by the service they provide and the 1 year warranty. Good customer service is very hard to come by nowadays and I will definitely support their company not just because of the great product they provide, but because of the amazing service.We started using sleep sacks as part of a bedtime routine to signal its time to sleep. It worked extremely well and is still working today for my 23 month old. He uses this sleep sack almost nightly (we have a second one as a backup that we use from time to time) and also for his afternoon nap. It's very durable, I wash it maybe once every 2-3 weeks. It does not smell, it does not pill, it has not broken even with him figuring out how to use the zipper. I know there are reviews on here with people saying that they don't have time to let it air dry, (that is a requirement of the cleaning process since this is pure wool) but honestly that is choice that you have made and saying that you don't have time for it is a bit ridiculous. I have a baby, a kitten, a house to clean, and a husband and I can manage to air dry it whenever I need to without it disrupting our lives. People are a bit dramatic. I bought a second sleep sack (lets face it, babies throw up a lot) as a backup and just put my son in the second sleep sack when I have this one on the drying rack. It has definitely made a difference and kept the quality of the sleep sack to be almost the same as the day I bought it. I also noticed my son slept better in this as it seems to be heavier and more weighted down on him. MY only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner. 10 star product if I could give it.Just awesome. I have the Woolino sleep sacks in all sizes. I first got them for my first baby and now that I had twins, I purchased a whole new set to use for one of the two babies. I have to say: the first set still looks and feels so nice, even after all the washing with my first child. These sleep sacks are not just well made, but also soft and cuddly. Someone put a lot of thought in the construction: the snaps at the top that help get the baby in and out of the sack easily, the snaps under arms to ensure you get babies don’t get tangled, etc. Above all, I like that the sack keeps baby’s body temperature constant so he’s never too hot or cold. I know the price can be a concern, but it’s totally worth it. I highly recommend it.I was very hopeful of this sleep bag based on the reviews and I am pleased to say it does not disappoint. The quality is top notch and it looks awesome on our little man. He is three weeks and close to 8 lbs and he has some room to grow into the length. It fits him well in the shoulders and neck and doesn't ride up above his face, which is great because I don't have to worry about him when he sleeps. I love the double zipper, which makes it easy to take him out and out him back in without too much disruption during late night feedings. The material is very soft and washes well too. He has spit up on it a few times and it wiped up well and I don't have to throw it in the wash frequently.I will definitely be purchasing more of these as he grows; they make a 2 month - 2 years version that will definitely become part of his wardrobe. I may splurge and get another one of these so we have a backup since it will be good up to 6 mos, depending on how long he is at that time. Plenty of room in it, but not so much that he swims.Seems to really help him regulate his body temperature very well. It is summer time in Denver and we either have the A/C on or the attic fan if it is cool enough outside at night. He does well in this and we don't need a blanket, which is another plus and one less thing to worry about as he sleeps.I highly recommend this sleep sack to anyone looking for a high quality product. Piece of mind for safe sleeping and helps regulate body temperature naturally.Der Schlafsack von Woolino wurde von uns sofort zurück geschickt, als wir nach einiger Recherche rausfanden, dass die verwendete Merino Wolle von Tieren verwendet wird, die immer noch unter der qualvollen Prozedur des „Mulesing“ zu leiden haben. Dabei wird den Tieren ohne Betäubung die Hautpartie um den After entfernt wird, um Fliegenmadenbefall vorzubeugen.Es gibt von anderen Firmen sehr schöne Merinowolle-Produkte, auch Schlafsäcke, bei denen die Tiere aus artgerechter Bio-Haltung kommen, die nicht unter Mulesing zu leiden haben. Die Produkte, die ich kenne, werden sogar in Deutschland hergestellt, bzw. genäht, und nicht in China, wie bei Woolino.Letztendlich ist von allen Merino-Wolle Schlafsäcken, die wir für unser Kind angeschaut haben, der Woolino Schlafsack nicht nur der, der Wolle aus qualvoller Tierhaltung in Kauf nimmt und billig in China produziert, es ist sogar der teuerste von allen Schlafsäcken gewesen.Wir sind jetzt sehr gücklich mit einem günstigeren Schlafsack einer deutschen Firma, der Materialen und Wolle aus reiner Bio Haltung verwendet und sogar in Deutschland produziert.I cannot rate or praise this sleep bag enough. So much so ... I have bought another x3! One at the same size for my newborn (0-6 months), which he has been using since he was 1 week old.Whilst it is costly, it is worth the investment. It takes a massive weight off one as a new parent worrying about what tog. This is for all seasons. It comes with a handy thermometer which a guide re what clothes little one should wear underneath. The upfront cost will save purchasing several bags of different togs. So a saving in the long run.Really nice sleeping bag, the fabric feels really nice and it fits my 8 week old very well.This sleep sack is very high quality. I had purchased several different Sacks and this one is the nicest! The zipper is excellent and I like that it goes around the sides of the sack rather than up the middle bc I find that’s more comfortable for my baby. I only have two complaints:One is that because it’s so long my baby (6 months old) sometimes gets it twisted and wrapped around his body (it does not effect his safety in any way he is an excellent mover/roller)The second is that bc it’s wool, when it gets wet it has a weird smell... kind of smells like a barn or petting zoo when my baby chews and drools on the collar when teethingThe material is super soft and it is breathable so it’s great for all seasons. I feel this sleep sack will last us for the year!ich habe diesen Schlafsack auf Grund des sehr guten Testergebnisses gekauft. ich habe einen Schlafsack gesucht, der meine Tochter sowohl wärmt, jedoch nicht überhitzt. Der Temperatur bedingt ist es gerade mal wieder schwierig, die passende Bekleidung zu finden.Der Woolino kam einen Tag später als erwartet bei mir an, voller Vorfreude ausgepackt und in die Waschmaschine gepackt, bei 40 grad und 800 Umdrehungen.Bei der Anprobe habe ich festgestellt, das er ziemlich reichlich ist, an Arm- und Ausschnitt. Eher ungünstig, wegen der Gefahr des "hineinrutschens", somit komme ich zu Stern 1 Abzug! Bei der Angabe von 6-18 Monate: natürlich ist ein 6 monate altes Baby in den Proportionen viel zarter als ein 18 Monate altes Kleinkind, ich habe die Arme mittels Druckknopf verkleinert, somit kann meine Tochter nicht mehr hineinrutschen.Die erste Nacht, wie auch in dem bekannten "Alvi" Schlafsack (auf die Marke hatte ich bis dato geschworen!) war meine Tochter mit Innenschlafsack bekleidet, schwitzig nass im Nacken! also, Innenschlafsack aufgemacht, dann ging es. Heute Früh hatte sie dann kalte Beine.Beim Wickeln ist ein Malheur passiert, Wäsche Zwei! folgte....Bereits danach war er schon recht fusselig, daher Stern 2 Abzug!Fazit: Richtig testen konnten wir ihn noch nicht, jedoch hadere ich mit mir, ob ich ihn zurückschicke oder behalten sollte, da ich finde, nach 2x Waschen sollte bei einem Preis von weit über 60€ für einen einzelnen schlafsack (!!!) ,dies nicht passieren. (Im Vergleich, gibt es bei Alvi für diesen Preis ein 3-er Set.)positiv:*Das Motiv (Sterne auf weiss) gefällt mir sehr gut und ist zeitlos* Reissverschluss lässt sich leicht öffnen, 2- Wege RV*weiche Haptik*sehr dünn (trägt nicht so doll auf) trotz 4-Jahreszeiten*kein unangenehmer Geruch nach dem Waschennegativ:*kein Grössenausgleich (Armausschnitt/ Halsausschnitt sehr gross)* auch unten zu lang, dadurch schlechter Wärmespeicher*Stoff-Qualität ungenügend, nach dem 2.ten Waschen ->Peeling.*Reissverschluss ist gewöhnungsbedürftighat dir meine Rezension gefallen?! freue ich mich über ein "nützlich".
