This is great for laying out on the ground to sit on. It is more like a tarp (the back is tarp like material). Makes it great as ground cover but not great as any sort of blanket as it is neither warm nor soft.Also, I can't get it rolled up the way it came to save my life. I has the nice handle and velcro closure, but you need to fold it just so for those to work. Take a good look at it the first time, maybe you'll have better luck than I've had.Super easy to carry and truly sand and water resistant. It rolls up very easily and is sturdy. I gave it 4 stars for comfort because the design inherently needs to be sturdy, so it’s not very soft and cozy, for like cuddling on the couch, I wouldn’t recommend for that use, but it’s not at all scratchy or uncomfortable to sit on. We love it for all our adventures.You can’t tell from the photos, but this blanket was so big! It was more than enough room for my husband and I! Easily could’ve fit 4+ people comfortably. It has a layer of plastic on the bottom to make it waterproof! It’s lightweight and the leather straps made it perfect for carrying through subways and across nyc! Is big enough to have more than you and your significant other.Bought this as a gift for Daughter and her family...She had a different brand but lost it and loves this one so much betterI like this blanket. It takes a bit of getting used to to fold it correctly. Unfortunately there was a big snag on mine and I don't want to cut it incase it unravels. The blanket does snag easily, so be careful if you have nails or anything that can get caught. It's such a pretty color though, and looks great in pictures! It can easily fit 3 people laying down.I wanted to give this 5 stars but that little faux leather clasp shouldn’t be so difficult to wrap back around the blanket after use. The straps are ridiculously short which really forces you to really squeeze the blanket in. Make the straps longer!That aside, the blanket is wonderful. Great quality and fit several people.
