Sellstrom high temperature resistant fabric blanket. Heat resistant fabrics and high-temperature fire blankets for all severe heat environments. The optimal choice for welding applications. Maintains physical integrity and protects for excursion temperatures to 3000 degrees F. This is 96 percent amorphous silica material that is both pliable and durable. Low soluble chlorides and halogens facilitates use in both nuclear and fossil fuel power plants. Water repellent. All high temperature fabrics are hemmed on all four sides with Kevlar thread with brass grommets on corners and 36-inches center. Typical applications: high heat reflection, molten metal splash, welding shields, freeze protection, steam tracing insulation, fire blankets, stress relieving, lagging, removable flange and valve covers, hose and cable protection, expansion joints, insulation of metal tubing, pipe wrap, oven door seals, tadpole gasketing and tadpole tape core.
