Yes, I really bought this Dachshund throw for my Dachshund. He sleeps on our bed usually on the top of the covers and sometimes gets cold with the fan. This blanket is a good size for a small dog. The fabric isn’t really a flannel type. It feels really silky and soft like a higher end throw blanket. The only issue I have ( we’ll really the only issue my dog has) is it’s sometimes clingy and follows him around when he walks on the bed. He is a long haired Dachshund so might work better for a short haired dog. It’s still his favorite and mine too and the print makes me smile.Loved the blanket gave as a gift. The person lives in another state and said he would frame it. I didn't understand until I ordered it myself. It was a toddler blanket. The person was too polite to say so. My son can luckily use mine and loves it. But since I thought it was an adult size blanket so that was the only surprise. We wash it two to three times a week and the colors have stayed and we have had it a few months . It takes a beating and drags on the ground and mealtimes. So durable and very soft. Would recommend.My friend bought the "for pets" size for me as a joke. It's... actually pretty comfortable.
